IMPORTANT NOTICE! DELIVERY OF DOCUMENTATION FOR SUPPORT AND PAYMENT FOR MEASURE I.9. “TEMPORARY TERMINATION OF FISHING ACTIVITIES” FROM 2021 AND 2022.
All users who have submitted a request for support for participation in the measure of temporary cessation of fishing activities in 2021 and 2022 are hereby informed that the regulations for the implementation of support under measure I.9 have been published in the “Official Gazette” No. 51/23. “Temporary cessation of fishing activities” for temporary suspensions from 2021 and 2022.
Following on from the above, a list of the necessary documentation that users are required to submit, in accordance with the temporary suspension for which they have submitted a Request for Support, has been published on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture, Directorate of Fisheries.
IMPORTANT NOTE !!!
Due to the specificity of the implementation of the support measure for these 6 temporary suspensions from 2021 and 2022 in relation to the previous temporary suspensions, as well as to the suspensions from this year, the user for each individual suspension and for each vessel for which he has submitted a request for support fills the corresponding form Data for support and payment, and submits it together with the other documentation specified in the List of documentation for support and payment to the Managing Authority.
After processing the previously submitted Request for support from 2021 and 2022 and the documentation that must be submitted now (from the List of documentation for support and payment), the governing body will issue a Decision by which it will decide on the allocation and payment of support (separate decisions will not be made on allocation and payment) per individual period and fishing vessel for which the user has submitted a request for support.
It is noted that, in the case when support is also requested for members, the user, along with the filled-in form Information for support and payment for each individual suspension, is also obliged to submit the prescribed documentation for the crew members of that fishing vessel, which until now was submitted with the request for payment (eg billing lists, JOPPD forms, crew list, etc.) .
The documentation for each temporary suspension is submitted in the form prescribed in the List of documentation for support and payment, by registered mail or in person, in a closed envelope on the back of which the sender’s name and address should be legibly printed and delivered to the address:

with the indication: “Documentation for support and payment under measure I.9. Temporary cessation of fishing activities (SPECIFY FOR WHICH TEMPORARY SUSPENSION THE DOCUMENTATION IS SUBMITTED*) – do not open”
* The following marks are indicated on the envelope, depending on which temporary suspension the documentation is submitted in the envelope:
purse seine fishing for January/February 2022.
purse seine fishing for May 2022.
trawling COVID-19 for 2021.
trawling COVID-19 for 2022.
trawling for September/October 2021.
trawling for September/October 2022.
